Rosemarie Corsinetti Ault, 88, of Providence, RI, passed away peacefully, at home on July 18, 2025. A lifelong resident of the Silver Lake neighborhood, Rosemarie was known for her warmth, joyful spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Born in Providence, she was the cherished daughter of the late Pasquale Corsinetti and the late Rosa (Zoglio) Corsinetti. On July 11, 1970, she married the love of her life, the late Raymond E. Ault, Jr. Together they built a home rooted in love, laughter, and tradition.
Rosemarie was a devoted mother to her son John M. Ault and his partner Ashley Sadlier, and Robert Christopher. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Nicolai G. Ault and his partner Carissa Comeau, Brayden Read Sadlier, and Paxxton Ray Sadlier Ault. She was also the sister of the late Americo, Pasquale, and Anthony Corsinetti, Evelyn Grande and Mafalda Gaglione. She leaves behind her niece Carol (Grande) Lawton and many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her deeply.
She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and went on to build a meaningful career, dedicating many years to the former Rhode Island Hospital Trust National Bank for over 25 years and later to the Silver Lake Center, where she was deeply valued by colleagues and community members alike. Her love of family was matched only by her passion for community. Rosemarie was a longtime member of St. Bartholomew Church and proudly affiliated with the Rhode Island Honor Society, Antonio G. Fidanza - Sons of Italy, the Silver Lake Hartford Housing Corporation, and the 7th Ward Democratic Club.
Rosemarie found joy in life’s simple pleasures—dancing, knitting, reading, and gathering with loved ones. She gave selflessly and loved generously, touching countless lives with her grace, loyalty, and light-hearted humor. Rosemarie’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Her visitation and funeral will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 9:00 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Graveside burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosemarie’s memory to the Silver Lake Community Center.
