Rosemarie E. “Jackie” (Jackvony) Corio, age 95, of North Providence passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Carmela DiGiovanni Jackvony; the beloved wife of the late Salvatore “Sam” Corio; the devoted mother of Robert Corio and his wife Annie, Cynthia Corio-Poli and her husband Frank and Salvatore Corio Jr.. She was very proud of her cherished grandchildren Christopher and his wife Ericka, Dean, Hannah, Matthew, Isabella and Jack and her great grandchildren, Wilder and Winnie. She was the sister of Joanne J. Iuliano and the late Thomas Jackvony.
Family is what meant most to Rosemarie. She was a devoted wife and mother who unselfishly pushed everything aside to give her undivided attention to her family. As a young mother she happily helped her own mother with her jewelry business. She was quite the gracious and elegant hostess who welcomed everyone to her table for a truly delicious meal of many courses.
Later on in life, she allowed her gift of artistic design to shine, expressed in her still life and landscape paintings and created floral arrangements for special events which were unmatched in creativity and modern design. She spent many years enjoying golfing with all her friends at Kirkbrae Country Club. During her retirement years with Sam, she cherished many winters with friends and family at their home in Davie, Florida, but always returning to North Providence for the Spring and summer months.
She was a parishioner at The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in North Providence. Rosemarie’s fun loving spirit, wittiness, and laughter shining through her sparkling blue eyes will surely leave a lasting impression on all those who knew her.
