

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Oliver D. and Mary (Scialo) Kingston.
Rosemary was a bus monitor for the Providence Public School Department as well as a private CNA. She also worked with The Miss Teen USA and Miss USA Pageant System in RI, NJ, MD, and NY as a chaperone to the many young women competing for The National Titles. She was well loved by the contestants and pageant family.
Rosemary enjoyed many things in life among them were traveling, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and watching her sons softball games. Her two dogs Jazz and Buddy were only just two of the many points of light in her life.
She was the devoted mother of Rhonda Way and her husband John and David Scialo and his companion Jackie; cherished grandmother of Ryan Farin; and sister of the late Oliver J. Kingston. She also leaves Denise Marfeo and Raye Anne Johnson-Seiger, whom she thought of as her daughters and her best friends Elaine Divozzi, Peggy Furlong, and Elaine Capobianco. She was predeceased by her uncle John Scialo and aunt Josephine Scialo.
Her visitation will be held Monday June 17, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by memorial service at 10:30 a.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
