She was the daughter of the late Roland and Lauretta (LaVallee) Smith; mother of Steven F. and Carol A. Lancor; grandmother of Michael McNally and Cory Lancor; great-grandmother of Trent and Evan McNally; sister of Linda Hodson and the late Dorothy Morelli.
Ruth always enjoyed being with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5-7 p.m. followed by a service at 7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
