Sandra was many things, one of them being chronically ill since birth, which she never let define or stop her, instead she persevered, defied all odds, and lived through the impossible. She became a survivor, a true warrior of God, who shattered every barrier placed in her way, and never took no for an answer. She was fearless and determined, silly and fun. Sandra had a huge heart which she used to love her family and friends unconditionally with an unparalleled sense of loyalty. To know Sandra was an honor. Sandra was truly kind, thoughtful, compassionate, empathetic, trusting, and generous. Until the very end, Sandra’s concern was always for others.; she was never selfish, jealous, or wanting and shared everything she had with anyone who asked. All she ever wanted was to laugh, love and be loved, which she was by everyone she encountered. Anyone who met Sandra could not help but be captivated by her magnetic energy; she made friends wherever she went. With her unique sense of humor, Sandra was always ready to catch you off guard with a sarcastic comment or silly joke. Her candid wisecracks, and banter will be sorely missed. Sandra was exceptionally beautiful, both inside and out, incredibly smart and unbelievably strong. Cordialness radiated from her. Sandra’s unbreakable faith in God, despite the hand she was dealt, never faltered. She spread His word wherever she went and spent her lifetime trying to live by his teachings. Sandra was an inspiration; she changed the lives of everyone she met, by doing nothing other than being herself. Despite her failing body, Sandra found happiness wherever she could and kept her spirits high. Sandra fought her entire life up until her last breath, but her fight is finished, her pain gone, she has peace. It is now our turn to bear the pain of losing such a remarkable soul and to remember her strength when things seem unbearable. Sandra’s story is not one of sickness and pain, but faith, courage and proof that nothing is impossible. She is now in Heaven wrapped in God’s embrace, but her inspiration will live on through all the lives she touched.
Sandra, 32, is survived by her mother Kimberly Palazzo, late-father Vincent Palazzo, sister Stephanie Palazzo and her nephew she called Boo, her maternal grandparents John & Sandra Quattrocchi, Uncle Ray Venditti, aunt and uncle Marcia & Frank Pickett, and numerous cousins and her best friend Jolene Breault
Funeral services and burial in Swan Point Cemetery will be private.
