

Scott "Scotto" Brodeur, 54, of Warwick, RI, passed away unexpectedly in his home, Monday morning March 4, 2013. He was born in Warwick to the late Virginia A. Farrar Brodeur and Henri V. Brodeur on July 13, 1958. Scott graduated from Toll Gate High School in 1977 where he was the co-captain of the Titans football team. He obtained a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University in manufacturing and used his skills to open his own wood working company. To all who knew Scotto, he will be remembered as full of life, a man who emanated love, and had a permanent smile on his face. Always the life of the party, he was a lover of music and could always be found manning the grill or whipping up some of his infamous margaritas. A friend to all, Scotto was Joint Chief of Staff and Camp Chef to the Lucky Dawgz, a gathering of friends and music lovers. Scotto was a dynamic part of a large and loving family. He was deeply loved by his wife and best friend Melissa M. Brodeur. He leaves behind three children, Daniel Scott Brodeur, Jacquelyn Macek, and Jessica Macek. An incredible brother, he is survived by his siblings Paul Brodeur and his wife Marie, Cynthia Spencer and her husband Walter, as well as Missy's siblings, Caroline Kinney, Steven Kinney, James Kinney and his wife Susan, Daniel Kinney and his wife Carol, Elizabeth Raines and her husband Richard, and the late John and Michael Kinney. Scott was a beloved uncle to 28 nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who remember him as a generous man who was always willing to help. A funeral service will be held on, Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10 am in Greenwood Community Presbyterian Church 805 Main Ave, Warwick. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick. In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's memory may be made to; St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
