Born in Providence, Shirley was the daughter of the late, Nathaniel and Hortense (Carmody) Isles.
She was an office clerk for the former, Lorac Inc. before her retirement.
Shirley is survived by a son, Timothy J. Bolger and his wife Paula, her daughters, Mary A. Ballou and Rosemarie Bolger, and four grandchildren, Laura Ballou, Nicole,Kayla and Kyle Bolger and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Nathan and Gloria Isles and Sylvia Berthiaume.
A visitation will be held on Friday, 5 – 8 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Funeral Saturday, 7:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Paul Church, 1 St. Paul Place, Cranston. Burial in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Shirley’s name to: P.A.C.E.
