Theresa L. Galligan

Born in Ellsworth, Maine. Theresa lived in Rhode Island. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy Preble.

Theresa was a Case Aid, making the lives of special needs adults better every day, in the town of Coventry, Rhode Island.

Besides her husband of 56 years, Theresa is survived by two sons, Walter Galligan Jr., and Justin Galligan, three daughters, Katie Beth Rose Galligan, Toshia Galligan, and Billy-Jo Winslett, one brother, David Preble two sisters, Dorothy Ruiz, and Pamela Winslett, ten grandchildren, Chelsea and Briana Perry, Walter III, Alyse, Shawn, Owen, and Nazyra Galligan, Ashyia Galligan-Cruz, Malik Limehouse, and Jaquan Boswell, and her great granddaughter, Adriana DiSano.

Theresa was the mother of the late Shawn Galligan and sister of the late Christopher Preble,Sandra Ciccone, Nancy Mastrostefano, and Rosalie Preble.

A visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Thursday, June 10th, beginning at 4 pm, with a service to follow at 7 pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence.  Burial will be private.  Donations may be made in Theresa’s memory to:  Hope Health Care
