Thomas J. Hawes, 62, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2015 at his home. He was the husband of the late Joyce E. (Carreiro) Hawes. They were married for 38 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James T. and Virginia R. (Wood) Hawes. Tom worked as a baker for Dunkin Donuts and Mr. Donuts for 17 years. Mr. Hawes also worked as a cook and chef at local area restaurants. He leaves his children, Cora R. Carreiro, of Warwick, Joseph J. Hawes, of Pawtucket, and Sondra J. Hawes, of Cranston; two sisters, Lorna J. Tweedly and Terry J. Hawes; and his three grandchildren, Kelsey M. Carreiro, Thomas J. Carreiro, and Joyce Quinn Payette. Tom was the brother of the late Donna J. DeMoranville. Visiting hours will be held on Friday evening, June 26, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with a memorial service beginning at 8:00 pm, in the Russell J.
