Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Benedetto and Maria (D’Andreta) Turchetta.
Thomas was a Purple Heart Veteran who served in WWII and a lifetime member of the Disabled Veterans Chapter 1.
He was the loving father of Steven A. Turchetta and the late Thomas B. Turchetta; cherished grandfather of Alicia DaSilva and Natalia Giancaspro; great-grandfather of Isabella and Oliver Giancaspro; and brother of Dorothy Ise and the late Paul Turchetta, Louis Turchetta, Mary Imondi and Louise Procaccini.
Thomas will always be loved and will never be forgotten by many, especially his niece Paulette Ruzzano.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 17th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial will be private.
