We sadly announce the passing of William Bliss, of Providence, RI, who died on March 4, 2025, at the age of 75 after a prolonged illness. Bill was a talented photographer and writer, well-known for his engaging wit and insights on a vast array of subjects. He was a familiar sight on his daily power walks on Blackstone Blvd., and was an avid swimmer and beachcomber. Bill always had a kind word and a ready smile for those who knew him. Bill is survived by his longtime companion Liz (Archambault) Russell, brothers Steven and John, nieces Julia and Haley, and nephew Robbie. Private services will be held at Lincoln Park Cemetery.
