William J. Noonan, Jr

Narragansett William J. Noonan, Jr., 72, of Bonnet Shores, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Patricia D. (Cannon) Noonan for the past fifty years.Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William J. and Rita (Kinnes) Noonan, Sr.For the past ten years, Bill worked for the Narragansett School Department, and previously he was an electronic technician for Qual X Serv for thirty seven years.He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.In addition to his wife Pat, he leaves three daughters, Linda M. (Billy) Byrne, Terri A. (Michael) Pare, Karen D. (Geoff) LeCam; a son, Steven W. (Lori) Noonan; four brothers, James, Charles, Joseph and Robert Noonan; six sisters, Rita Williams, Anne Leddy, Susan Martinka, Patricia Hardy, Mary Bolvin and Margaret Marfeo; and eight loving grandchildren, Billy, Brendan, Amanda, Carlene, Jimmy, Kaylee,Abby and Jack. He was a brother of the late Thomas, Jack and Michael Noonan.The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett. Burial, with military honors, will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Monday, 4:00 - 8:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett, RI 02882 in his memory will be appreciated.
