He was the beloved husband of Donna M. (Landry) Zambarano to whom he was married for 40 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of Elizabeth A. (Murray) Zambarano and the late Lawrence T. Zambarano. He was the loving father of Amanda M. Zambarano, William T. Zambarano and Lauren C. DeRoy; grandfather of Zachary and Amelia Waldeck and two expected grandchildren. He was the brother of Lawrence and John Zambarano, Joanne Williams, Judith Morrisette, Karen Picard, Diane Mencunas, Elizabeth Abazorius and Mary Ann DeAngelus. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Jake.
Bill loved playing softball, golfing, fishing, and road trips. The love he had for the New York Giants, Boston Red Sox, and Boston Bruins was unwavering. One of his favorite past times was spoiling his grand dogs, Tuxett, Zoey, Mr. B, and his “best buddy” Jake.
If he wasn’t watching Disney movies or the history channel, he loved to celebrate the Fourth of July and Christmas.
Bill was an amazing father, to not only his children, but to those he loved. He was known for his heart of gold, silliness, and sarcastic sense of humor. His contagious love and laughter will be deeply missed.
