A loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed on September 18, 2017 to a better life and reunion with her husband John and four sisters, Argie, Lena, Esther, and Ida, her parents Bertha and Dominick Mastrostefano as well as her father-in-law and mother-in-law John Sr. and Rose Musso. She also joins numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews including her first and very special nephew, Pete J. Musso. Ann left behind her three loving children, Rose Marie (John) Patti, Ginger (Anthony) Andenucio, and John “Stoney” (Candice) Musso, as well as her six grandchildren, Michael (Jamie) Patti, Michelle (Rob) Whittet, Tony (Gina Nogare) Andenucio, Matt (Cameron Giebel) Andenucio, J.T. (Brooke) Musso and Danielle (Andre) Holliday. She will also be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Joseph and Thomas Patti, Gianna Whittet, and Lily Antoinette and Tatum Musso. Ann was adored by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends of the family and is survived by her sister-in-law Francis Musso. She was very proud to have graduated at sixteen from Pinion School as valedictorian and valued education, making it a priority in her children’s lives. Ann spent her life working beside her husband on the family farm. She was a homemaker, caregiver, baby-sitter, bookkeeper, and tremendous cook. Ann loved to read, embroidery, and crochet but especially looked forward to Sundays, when the family would gather for spaghetti. She also treasured every opportunity to talk and visit with her beloved sisters. She was a volunteer for many years in the North and South Mesa Elementary School offices, libraries, and classrooms, having received the Up With Reading Community Award in 1998. Ann was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church, their Council of Catholic Women, and belonged to various Italian women’s groups. The family would like to thank her special care-givers for the many years of outstanding care. Thank you also to the Pueblo Rural Fire Department, her doctors and nurses. The viewing will take place on Tuesday, September 26th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at George McCarthy Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 27th at St. Joseph’s Church with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
