

Arthur worked as a Standard Oil Agent in Pueblo and after retiring he moved to Westcliffe where he drove a school bus for many years before returning to Pueblo. He also served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Belgium. His favorite activities were riding his bicycle on cross-country trips, sometimes by himself, several with nephew Tom Gaide, and one to Vermont with grandson Kent Bulloch, snowmobiling, including winter trips through Yellowstone National Park and on the Rainbow Trail, traveling in his RV, square dancing, gardening, and spending time with his extended family.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lorinne Gaide, his son Michael Morgan-Gaide (Midori), of Seattle, Washington, his daughter Dove Cogen, of West Brookfield, Vermont, and two stepchildren, Arlene Radasky (Bill) of Santa Barbara, California, and James Thomas Estep (Kim) of Pueblo, Colorado, and siblings Ralph L. (Marjorie) of Golden, Colorado, and Thelma June Mankel, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews and survived by ex-wife Lucy Gaide of Westcliffe, Colorado. Preceded in death by his parents; Arthur M. Gaide, Sr. and Sophia Gaide, his son-in-law, David Cogen, brother in-law, Jack Mankel, and step-grandson Jef Cameron.
Imperial Funeral Home performed services and a private family memorial service was held,including interment of ashes with military funeral honors by the Fort Carson Honor Guard at graveside. Arthur was a member of the American Legion, Westcliffe, Post 170, the Rotary Club of Wet Mountain Valley, a lifetime member of the Pueblo Elks Lodge #90, and the Central Christian Church in Pueblo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Christmas Child c/o Central Christian Church and may be mailed to the church at 1902 North Hudson Ave, Pueblo, Colorado 81001.
