Arthur J. Rivas, Jr. passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on August 4, 2015. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Julia & Octavio Rivas; grandfather, John Sapeda; daughter, Aaliyah; and grandson, Jordan. He leaves, to cherish his memory, his loving life partner, Sabrina Sandoval and children, Mariah, Octavio, Julian, and Marciano; father, Arthur J. (Sandra); Rivas Sr.; mother, Debby (David) Mitchel; grandmother, Rica Sapeda; sister, Regina (Bo) Powers and Sheena (Adam) Valdez. He is also survived by extended family members in California, Texas, and Colorado. He was employed at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Food Service, which he looked forward to each day. He was active in many Low Rider car clubs, and spent his free time grilling for his loved ones. The family wishes to thank family and friend, as well as the Food Service staff who have been so caring and helpful. At the family’s request no viewing. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Imperial Funeral Home.
