

A Colorado native, he was born in Greeley on April 6, 1945 to Trilba Jean (O'Day) and Edward Arthur Stout. He graduated from Kersey High School in 1963 and married his wife Dixie (Schaub) later that same year.
Bruce worked as a dairy farmer and herdsman in Colorado for most of his life. He was a good man with a big heart and a ready smile. His super-power was his dauntless optimism. No matter how difficult the situation, he always stayed calm and steady. He stood ready to give a hand to anyone who needed it. Bruce was an avid fisherman and loved going camping with his family whenever he could. Later in life he discovered a love for reading and constantly had a book in hand. He will be remembered by his family for his kind heart and playful sense of humor.
Bruce is survived by his children Rhonda Schmitt and Tylor Stout; his grandchildren Christopher Hunter, Melinda Jordeth, Jessica Reincke, Andrea Collins, and Jacob Stout; great-grandchildren Lily Hunter, Kaden Reincke, Jack Jordeth, and Noelle Collins; sisters Joyce Brunz, Coleen Deane; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dixie Lee Stout; parents Edward and Trilba Jean Stout ; brothers Ronald Stout and Terry Stout.
