Buster O Miller left this earth April 17, 2022, peacefully in his sleep, after 98 years of being loved and adored by all who knew him. He was born in Hartshorne, Oklahoma on January 6, 1924 and moved to Colorado after serving in the Army during World War II. He came here with his best friend, Bert Cooper. He married his wife, Lucille (Zito) in 1949 and together they raised three children; Steve Port (Jeanie), Bob Miller and Judy Rimer (Dave). He had five grandchildren and six great grand children. He was the last of his 13 brothers and sisters surviving.
Buster was employed in the Wire Mill of the CF&I for close to 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. His garden always supplied the neighbors with fresh veggies every year.
Buster will be sadly missed by his friends and family but we will always remember his sense of humor, the twinkle in his eye and his generous and helpful ways.
