

Carmella was born August 15, 1946 in Pueblo, CO to Mike Yallanardo and Rose Corwin. She graduated from Pueblo County High School in 1964. Shortly thereafter, Carmella built a life for herself in Pueblo, she was a seamstress, baker, crafter, and homemaker but her most favorite role was a grandmother to her 5 grandchildren.
Carmella had many interests and talents. Carmella enjoyed sewing and crafting costumes, wedding dresses, blankets, and outfits for her porcelain dolls that she would regularly enter into contests. Carmella would go on to win many awards in the contests she entered. She enjoyed baking: birthday, anniversary, and wedding cakes. She was an enthusiastic Broncos fan! She played and coached softball, She enjoyed bowling. She enjoyed gambling and making trips to cripple creek and Las Vegas. Carmella was very proud of her Italian heritage and she would let you know it by sharing tales from the past. Above all she loved her family.
Carmella is preceded in death by her husband Donald Ayers, her beloved sister and brother in law Carol and August Kaiser, and her parents. She is survived by her devoted children, Candi, son-in-law John, Phil, Don, daughter-in-law Nicole, brothers Mike and Wayne (Marie), grandchildren Matthew (Alicia), Misty (Mark), Silver (Robert), Nicholas, and Angelo, great grandchildren Shawn, Maliyah, Aviana, Gianni and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 15 at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery 5450 Highway 78 West Pueblo, CO 81005.
