Carole, with an “E” as she would always say, went peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ as the sun was rising for a new dawn on Tuesday November 11, 2025. Carole was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhetta Canida, who was her world; her loving husband, Tracy DeFusco; her step-son, Leide DeFusco. Carole is survived by her son-in-law, Wayne Canida; step-children Chris (Sylvia) DeFusco, Mark (Maribel) DeFusco, Wendy DeFusco, Mianna (Sonny) Oliva; her step-grandchildren Ashton DeFusco, Kaylee (Doug) Inglett, Michael and Amanda DeFusco, Jake, Nicholas and Matthew DeFusco, Erianna, Laney, and Emery Sorensen, Lynlei and Sutton Oliva, Jill (Nelson) Poteete, Jack Canida, and great grandchildren; church family and special friends all who loved her dearly.
Carole loved sunflowers, so whenever you see a sunflower, know that Carole is smiling down on you. Her dog, Fido and cat Owlyn knew that they were very special to her. Carole will be missed by everyone that knew her, especially her quick sense of humor.
Funeral service will be Tuesday November 18, 2025 at Imperial Funeral Home and Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am to 11am , with the service beginning at 11am.
