Clifford L. Laurence

Clifford was born on February 23, 1942 to Verlon and Lola Laurence in Pueblo, Colorado. After graduation as valedictorian from South High School in Pueblo, he went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He continued with his education by earning his doctorate in physics and electrical engineering from Rice University.

Clifford went on to work for Tracor Military Systems and Aerospace Corporation. He later became a Senior Lecturer in the Electrical and Engineering Department at the University of Texas. Cliff continued to teach after he retired and moved back to Colorado at Pikes Peak State College.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Charlotte Garnett, and his brother Dennis Laurence. He is survived by his nieces, nephew, and their children.
