He served in World War II from 1946 to 1947. After the Army he moved to Pennsylvania and worked as a furniture maker.
He is survived by his wife Ciria Salazar-Miller of the family home. He is also servived by his children from his first marriage Robert T. Miller, Susan (Gary) Copple and family, Sharon (Joe) Katzin and family. He is also survived by his sister Goldie (herald) Bridgewater. He is survived by special grandchildren Hope and TJ Barrajas and Cici and Serenity Barrajas. Special nieces Lorraine Padilla and Karla (Laron) Kelly.
Colby is preceded in death by his mother and father. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Lenard Miller, Harland Miller, Gene Miller and his two sisters Evelyn Keserich and Goldie Thompson
Uncle Colby will be remembered for his love of God, country and his family as well as his church family. He will also be remembered for his love of his birds and his squirrels and his dog Leo who he walked every day.
