Colleen Martinez

She was born and raised in Pueblo Colorado and attended East High School. Colleen was known for her kind heart and nurturing spirit. She helped raise her brothers as if they were her own children, alongside her three children. She extended her love to many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and anyone who needed a caring hand. Colleen was a constant source of warmth and support to those around her.

She worked with the elderly and disabled for many years and served as a bartender. Colleen enjoyed playing pool and darts, and her happiest moments were spent surrounded by family and friends. Her vibrant personality and loving nature will be deeply missed.

Colleen is survived by her children: Vanessa (James Cody) Finley, Ronnie Bustos, and Isaiah (Jadan) Aragon. As well as her first spouse Trino Tienda and her second spouse Ralph Romero. She was a proud grandmother to Ayonna Finley, Andromeda Bustos, Zarek Martinez, Zavion Vigil, Zayne Martinez, Dominic Cancio, Isabel Cancio, and Baby Aragon. She is also survived by her goddaughter, Anganette Martinez, and her surviving siblings, Ray Martinez and Gabriel Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rosendo and Mary Martinez, and Jose and Elizabeth Montoya; her parents, Eligio Martinez and Herlinda Urieta Martinez; and her siblings, Doreen Martinez, Henry Martinez, Eligio Martinez Jr., Phillip Martinez, sisters-in-law, Susan Martinez and Vicky Campa a grandson, Ezekiel Aragon and her godmother, Rebecca Lerma.

Colleen leaves behind many special friends and her devoted care provider, Sierra Arellano. She will be forever missed by all who loved her.

A service will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10am at Family Worship Center. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers. If you knew Colleen, she requested that you come as you are to her funeral, and wear the color maroon, if you would like.

There will be services held Friday May 30th, 2025, 10:00am, at Family Worship Center, 3800 Parker Blvd. Pueblo, CO 81008 with a reception to follow at St. Joseph's Parish Hall,1145 S. Aspen Rd. Pueblo,CO 81006.
