

Constance “Connie” Goodwin, Pueblo, went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2015. Born August 25,1936, in Pueblo, CO. Connie was a lifelong Puebloan, working in the dental health field until retirement in 2000. Connie enjoyed her pets, fishing, dancing, and women's softball, a sport to which she made great contributions regionally. She worked, loved, and lived with her whole heart, and will be deeply missed by many. Preceded in death by parents Bill Cartmell, Clara Tearpak, and grandmother Mamie Blood, sisters Betty Jo Cartmell and Diana Allen, aunt Anne Stanley, and cousins Gerald and Gary Stanley. Survived by beloved daughter Jodona Goodwin and stepdaughter Judie Gomez, Also sisters Kay (Ron) Singleton, Billie (Reggie) Garcia, Warren Allen (all of Pueblo) Bill Cartmell and Trey Satterlee, MacPherson, Kansas, and all of their children and grandchildren. Lifelong friends Jerry "Doc" and Georgia Dockendorf and famly, and adopted” sons "Butch" Forrest and “Chip” Statz, and many, many more friends. Services at Imperial Funeral Home, 5450 CO Hwy 78, Pueblo, on Thursday, November 12 at 10 am. In celebration of Connie's way of living in full color, the family invites attendees to wear bright colors in her honor if they would like. Reception afterward at Praise Assembly of God, 2000 Troy Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to any no-kill animal shelter in Pueblo.
