Daniel Ortiz, of Pueblo passed away January 7, 2017. He was born on May 1, 1951 to Dick and Katie Ortiz. He is survived by his loving wife, Nadine Ortiz; children Daniel (Rebecca) Ortiz and Danielle Ortiz; grandchildren Josh and Aria; mother in law Esther Pena; siblings Dolores (Jose) Valdez, Timothy Ortiz, John (Jessica) Pena, Mary (Carmen) Hernandez, Pat Pena, Gilbert Pena, Joe Pena, Chris (Chris) Pena, Evelyn (Dallas) Payne, Vivian (Henry) Lopez, Steve (Janet) Pena, Carol (John) Murphy; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Daniel is also survived by those he loved as his own Josh Soto, Victoria, Camille, Meranda, Ashlyn and Esperanza. He enjoyed his spiritual family within Jehovah’s organization. Special thank you to Jose, Nicole and Melissa for caring for him.
Services to be held January 12, 2017 at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center 210 N Santa Fe Ave at 2:00 p.m.
