David J. DeLeon, 76, passed away unexpectedly January 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by both parents Joe and Angelina DeLeon; brother Tim and wife Andrea DeLeon. He is survived by daughter Kimberly(Richard) Wallace; siblings Lewis, Valerie, Kenny and Lori(Rob) Mauro along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was especially close with brother/sister-in-law John and Pat Mascarenas, along with special friends Bob and Jo Johns.
Dave graduated from South High School and received a bachelors degree from SCSC presently CSUP. He was employed by and retired from the State of Colorado- Probation Department with 30+ years of service.
He had an amazing work ethic whether it be on the job or at home. He enjoyed spending time with friends at the Fraternal Order of Eagles or just a family gathering. Dave was always willing to lend a hand or help someone in need. He loved to laugh and joke whatever the occasion may be. He had a zest for life and a SMILE that would light up a room. To know him was to LOVE him!
Memorial Mass, Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 10AM at St Joseph Catholic Church. Family requests in lieu of food and flowers, donations can be made to charity of choice.
