On Friday, March 15, 2019, Reverend David Thomas Lee, 67, went home to be with Jesus. He was born on May 29, 1951, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Arlette Borash. He graduated high school in 1969, going on to pursue a career in sales. In 1979, he encountered Jesus, which profoundly changed his life and direction. He married Carol Wicklund on June 26, 1982, and, in 1991, they entered the evangelistic field. For ten years, they traveled the country with their three sons, Joel, Chris, and Jeremy, sharing the Gospel and their personal testimony of God’s redemptive grace. In 2001, he and his wife settled in Aurora, Colorado, pastoring Christ Temple for seven years. In 2009, he returned to the evangelistic field, basing his home in Colorado while preaching in hundreds of churches from coast to coast. David truly loved people. He was most at home surrounded by his friends and family, and he will always be remembered for his hearty laugh. He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Joel (Renee), Chris (Dawn), and Jeremy (Kari); grandchildren, Colt, Keelin, Reagan, and Shelby; siblings, Dick (Kay), Linda, Diane (Mark); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 at one p.m. at Christian Growth Center, 1906 Hudson, Pueblo. Burial will follow at Imperial Funeral Home and Cemetery.
