Dolly Ann Holland, 98, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away Thursday May 2, 2024 at home with her loved ones by her side. She was the widow of James Holland. She was born in Jackson Spur, Colorado on November 2, 1925. She was the daughter of Felix Duran and Maclovia Martinez. She was a homemaker for many years and was a member of St. Leanders Church and the Cenacle Nocturnal Adoration. Dolly enjoyed watching her Broncos and spending time with family and friends. She was an animal lover; her dogs were very important to her, they were her babies. She enjoyed and loved to have her beers and honey whiskey. Her faith and prayers were a very important part of her everyday life. Dancing to Spanish music was her favorite thing to do. Dolly loved to make her birthday calls and sing her famous birthday song to her loved ones on their special day. She will be remembered for the special love she had and gave to everyone no matter who you were or where you came from, and her strong faith in GOD and prayers that everyone always welcomed. Dolly was always the life of the party with the biggest, brightest smile, and welcoming arms. She will also be remembered for amazing strength, as she was a fighter and fought through numerous cancers. She was the definition of a true survivor.
Dolly is survived by her daughter Maria (Kenny); grandchildren Tosha and Shanae (Anthony); great grandchildren Estrella, Antonio Jr., Jaylssa, Xzavyour, Lela, Aven, Emlilee (Layah); numerous nieces and nephews; family members, and friends that became family.
She was preceded in death by her husband James, her parents, six brothers and sisters.
A visitation for Dolly will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with a Rosary to follow at 12:30pm, and Funeral Service at 1pm.
