Donaciano Alfredo Sanchez, 81, sunrise, January 21, 1936 and sunset June 5, 2017. Preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Virginia; parents, Delfino and Requilda Sanchez; brothers, Eliberto, Pete, Frank, Julian, Arthur, and Alex; sister, Mercy Medina; son-in-law, Frank Valdez. Don is survived by son, Darren (Robin) Sanchez; daughter, Karen (Dwayne) Cordova; son, Dennis (Lorraine) Trujillo; grandchildren, Daniel (JoAnna), Jason (Savannah), and Darian Sanchez, Mathew and Megan Valdez, Steven (Patricia) and Maximino Trujillo; 4 great granddaughters; sisters, Rachel and Louise (Charles); and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Don retired from CF&I after 27 years and began a creative hobby of gathering and selling aluminum and other metals. Don enjoyed fishing, camping, and napping. He was hardworking and was a role model for all of his grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by numerous family members and friends. A very special thank you to the staff at Life Care Center. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 10, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
