

Eloy Madrill, 83, passed away February 6, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, Ruben and Bessie Madrill; siblings, Epimenio, Carmel, Lucy and Anthony Madrill. Survived by wife, Christina of 57 years; children, Sandra (Jennifer Weaver) Madrill; Cheryl (Nathan) Madrill-Stringham; Debbie (Ben) Nelms; grandson, Christopher Madrill; sister, Martha Madrill, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Eloy graduated from Central High School in 1949. He proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean War and served on the Joint Air Transportation Board, he was proud of being an Airman 1st Class from 1951 to 1955. He continued his education by attending Southern Colorado State College then on to Adams State College where he received his Bachelors of Arts and Masters of Arts and Education. Eloy was also a long time educator for Pueblo District 60. He held credentials as a Teacher, Principal and Superintendent and obtained a lifetime certificate to teach at any Colorado Public School. Eloy was a lifelong Broncos, Rockies and Nuggets fan. He loved fishing, camping and taking numerous coast to coast trips with his family. He was a lifelong supporter of the Democratic party and attended several political events. At his request there will be no viewing. Rosary, Tuesday, 6 p.m., Funeral Mass, Wednesday, 11 a.m. both at Holy Family Church. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
