Emma Ernestine Guerrero

Emma Guerrero, 93, passed away peacefully on Feb. 26, 2018. She was born Feb. 22, 1925 in Aguilar, CO. to Jose and Condelaria Mestas. Emma was preceded in death by her beloved husband and soulmate of 56 years George Guerrero; 11 siblings and her three angels Peter, Christa and Emily Rose. She leaves behind her loving sister Helen Casias, her children George (Patty) Guerrero, Richard (Shirley) Guerrero, Bill (Wendy) Guerrero, China Montoya and Brenda Rodriguez; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Emma loved the outdoors, and enjoyed working in her yard, fishing and camping. She was also a wonderful craftswoman. Many people were blessed with her beautiful crochet work and handmade quilts. She was a very outgoing and charismatic person and will be missed dearly and live forever in our hearts. Viewing is from 5-7 pm followed by Rosary March 6, 2018. Memorial services are at 2:00 pm with burial to follow. All services are at Imperial Funeral Home, 5450 W Hwy 78, Pueblo.
