Frances E. Swanson

Frances E. Swanson, 92, passed away Jan. 24, 2011. She was born July 3, 1919. Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Dayton Swanson; mother, Mary Coleman; father, Walter Lankford; sister, Ruth Duncan; brother-in-law, James Duncan and son-in-law, Larry Foos. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Foos; son, John (Lynn) Swanson; grandchildren, Shawn Foos, Shayne (Erika) Foos, James (Tina) Foos, Dawn Arnold, Sheri (Tim) Watson, Amy (Alex) Cole; great-grandchildren, Ashley (Bart) McNabb, John, Amber and Brittany Foos, Aidan, Ian and Ainsley Newell, Matthew Arnold, Magan (Devon) Smith, Aimee Price, Kaitlyn and Haily Cole, Lauren, Emily and Brendan Watson; great-great-grandchildren, Joshua McNabb and Bentley Smith. Frances was a long time member of Broadway Christian Church, was a deaconess Emeritus, financial secretary, Sunday School teacher, board member and leader of “The Broadway Bell’s”, member of the Order of the Easter Star #34 & #7, past Worthy Matron – Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem past High Priestess. Visitation, 5 – 7 pm, Friday, Jan. 27 at George McCarthy Funeral Home, 401 Broadway, Pueblo, CO.
