

Frank John Huerta, a proud U.S. Army Veteran, master craftsman, and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, in Pueblo, Colorado, at the age of 86, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 6, 1939, in Rockvale, Colorado.
Frank was a man of deep faith, a devoted Christian and devout Catholic who shared a profound spiritual connection with his wife, Jane. He held four Master Craftsman skills: mechanic, machinist, millwright, and welder, which he leveraged into a successful manufacturing business he proudly ran alongside his sons, Tom and John, serving clients across the United States. Frank was always quick to make new friends, and his social circle would often gather daily at the local donut shop.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Jane Huerta (and step-son Dain Thomas); his children and their spouses: Tom Huerta, Michelle Green, John Huerta, Barbara Huerta, Lisa (Leigh) Lucas, and Joyce Huerta (Reed Doepke); his grandchildren: Jacob, Kama, Kaylee, Brenna, Caden, Kevin, Stella, and Lilly; siblings: Robert, Janice, Patricia, and step-sister Shirley; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of devoted friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara (Morelli) Espinosa; step-father, Eugene Espinosa; father, Henry Hilario Huerta; step-son, Trent Thomas; and his siblings Wilma Carreon, Carl Huerta, Barbara Jean Espinosa, and Eugene Espinosa, Jr.
Services will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, located at 3130 Morris Ave., Pueblo, CO 81008, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. The service will begin with a Rosary at 1:30 PM, followed by a funeral mass at 2:00 PM. Friends and family are encouraged to share memories in the church hall following the funeral mass.
