Gary Lee Bookout, 54, passed away November 1, 2022 in Pueblo, Colorado. He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years Antonnette (Vega) Bookout, children Samantha, Jacob (Billie Jean), Jeremy Bookout. Godson Ruben Rivas, and grandsons Daniel Ray, Garrett and Jaxson and numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Sara Gabrielle, parents Ray L. Bookout, Anita D. (Mendoza) Bookout. Brother Michael R. Bookout and Mother in Law Margaret Rivas. Born in Pueblo, Colorado, he was the son of Ray and Anita Bookout. He graduated from Central High School in 1986, and Pueblo Community College in 1998. He worked at Trane as a machinist for 13 years. He enjoyed fishing and cooking for his family and sharing his recipes. He loved all sports especially when he coached his two Bantam football teams, The Thundercats and Bobcats. He was the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Gary will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends and for being the biggest superhero for conquering any obstacle in his life. The funeral service will be held on Saturday November 19, 2022 at 11am at T.G. McCarthy Chapel 329 Goodnight Ave.
