I will miss you greatly Gary. i wish we could have become more aquainted in my adult years. you and Jo were my family growing up, and its my loss and failure that you didn't get to know me better.      Good Bye old friend.

Gary, we miss you badly, you were such a wonderful person.  Jo, I am so sorry for your loss, I know it must be very hard for you.  Rest in peace, Gary.

I have a memory, though vague, of when Gary was born. I stayed with my mother's sister and family while Mom was in the hospital. Gary had some health problems at birth but outgrew them nicely. He had blond hair which turned dark after a couple years. He took after Dad more than Mom, with brown eyes and thick hair. He pulled a Tom Sawyer with his paper route, getting his little friends to work for him as he expanded the route. I remember teaching him to drive - he didn't need much instruction from me - and co-signing a loan for his band's equipment. We always got along pretty well despite the normal childhood stuff. I remember the trip we took out to Colorado for an annual Mug Club gathering and spending a day in Aspen.These last number of years we grew quite close. We could talk about anything. We had some marathon phone calls. I have a lot of memories of him covering 69 years, mostly good.  His passing came as such a shock. The world has changed irrevocably. And, coming so close after our sister's death makes it so much harder for us to deal with. Gary, I am grateful you did not have to deal with the agony of a long illness. That will mitigate my grief some. I love you and am proud to have had you as my brother.

Gary I learn poker from you. You were one the smartest guy I have ever known. You  were a great friend your chair sits empty now.

thinking about you jo and holding you close in my thoughts the days will be long and the nights hard but know it dose get better Gary is right there with you try and always remember that xo xo xo                                                                            love jill

Beloved brother, I miss you so much and will forever forward. I enjoyed some of our epic conversations and wish we could have had one more visit together. As time goes on I will be able to smile at the fun times we had over the years, but right now it is too raw. I celebrated your birthday yesterday in my own world and lamented that you were not here to see it. There is no answer to why these things happen, to whom, and when, so I don't dwell on that. I try to direct my mind to being grateful you went quickly; that you did not endure the agony of a long, painful, illness that would have been so hard for you and all of us who loved you. Thank you for who you were and who you were for me. I love you still......Sue
