Gloria Sanchez

Gloria Sanchez, 87, went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2019. She is preceded in death by her sons, Pete E. Montelongo, Thomas (Eric) and Jeffrey R. Sanchez; parents, Irene and Sam Junta; and brother, Foster Muniz. Survived by her daughter, Barbara (Charles) Gonzales; grandchildren, Jaime Trujillo, Jenise (Carter) Trujillo-Washington, Jarrad (Aleasha) Trujillo, Charlie Gonzales, E.J. Graham, John Paul (Jill) Schulman, Misti Green, Crista (Joseph) Perez; great-grandchildren, Dominique, Jevoni (Jasmine), Jazmin, Daizja, Jarrad Jr., Jamison, Jaylyssa, Diallo, Jenessa, Jaila, Jayce, Jordan, Hannah, Cheyanne, Amelia, Charleigh Ann, and Annabell; great-great-grandchild, Giana; and siblings, Virginia (John) Gallegos, Rita, Merle and Sam Muniz; and numerous extended family and friends. Gloria will be remembered by her years of work at her salon, “Gloria’s Magic Mirror”; and as a former Fiesta committee member. She loved her phone calls with her sisters, Virg and Rita. She worked hard all her life for her family. Gloria enjoyed watching her novellas, Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. She moved to Denver five years ago, and was cared for by her daughter, Barbara. Gloria will be greatly missed by her family. Viewing will be 11 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2019; followed by a Rosary at 11:30 a.m.; followed by the Funeral Mass at 12 p.m., all to be held at St. Leander Catholic Church.
