

Born in Pueblo, CO, Gordon was a proud graduate of Central High School. He dedicated many years of his life to being the owner of Colorado Bingo/Casino, where he enjoyed operating until his retirement after 48 years.
Gordon was a loyal member of Elks Lodge #90, FOE #145 and FOE #3067, where he found community and lasting friendships. He was known for his love of the mountains, his caring heart, and his generosity to others—traits that touched the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Tracy (Mike) Vander Valk, Wilson and Harric (Holly Harsh) Vander Valk; grandchildren, Cassandra (Eric) Henderson, Tiffany (Tyler Halsey) Plutt, and Emma Vander Valk; and great-grandchildren, Conner, Stella, Sebastian, Annaliese, Gunner, and Emeryn. He is also survived by his sister, Sheilah Whitlock (Mark Whitlock); niece, Heather (Jeff) Owen, great niece, Jennifer (Tino) Escobedo and nephew Ty Thomas
Gordon was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rebecca Vander Valk.
He will be remembered as a man who lived with kindness, strength, and deep devotion to his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 9, 2025, at Imperial Funeral Home, located at 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, CO 81005, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A graveside service followed by a reception will take place on the same day at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery, located at 5450 CO-78, Pueblo, CO 81005, starting at 12:00 pm.
