

James William Coyne, 82, of Pueblo passed away peacefully on March 3rd, 2017.He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Patricia Coyne; children James (Roberta) Coyne, Jeffrey(Jean) Coyne and Jacqueline (Doug) Helzer; grandchildren James, Bradley, David, Brittany and Brianna Coyne, Madison, Jack and Grace Helzer; brothers-in-law, Walter and Tom (Joie) Mauro and many loving nieces and nephews. Due to James’ talent for jokes and his passion for people, he leaves behind countless great friends. He had a passion for cooking which most of the time was accompanied by family dinners. James loved to travel and to be close to his family. He had a passion for baseball and loved the Dodgers. He will be sorely missed. James is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Coyne; sister, Ann Oeffler; sister-in-law, Geraldine Mauro. James was a member of the Eagles and the Democratic Party. He was co-chair for Destination Imagination and was the vice president of the APWU Union. James served his country proudly in the Air Force and worked for the United States Postal Service. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 8th at 9:30 am with Mass to follow at 10:00 am at St Mary’s Church.
