Jim is survived by his daughter Karli (Jon Alcon) Thurman; sisters Cindy (John) Agnes, Shari Thurman and Valerie Thurman; grandchildren Jaiden and Audrey; nieces Leigha, Jamie, Alaina and Myah; nephews CJ and Preston; and extended family members and friends. He was a Patriots fan. Jim was known for his teasing and practical jokes. He will be remembered for his meticulous habits and routines, his indelicate comments, his infamous stories and his love for Pantera and Metallica.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Imperial Funeral Home's Chapel with burial to follow.
