Jimmy was a devoted husband and the father of two children, Atlas (7) and Eva (2), who were always at the center of his world. He loved his children deeply, and those close to him will remember the strength and presence he showed with them, especially during his illness. Jimmy built a respected career at Martin Marietta Materials, where he took great pride in his work. He was known for his reliability, dedication, and strong work ethic, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Outside of work, Jimmy was known for his quiet humor and steady, grounding presence. He lovingly humored Amanda by driving all over the United States for camping adventures, creating memories their family will always cherish. He also enjoyed target shooting, lifting weights, and staying active—simple passions that brought him peace and strength. Within the family, it was often joked that Jimmy got the brains, while his brother Marc got the sparkling personality.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda; their children, Atlas and Eva; his brother, Marc Bachicha; sister-in-law, Dimi; niece, Riley; nephew, Lyedan; along with several close friends who were like family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wallace and Dorrie Bachicha.
Jimmy’s life was full and meaningful. He was deeply loved, and his presence will always remain part of his family’s story.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 17, 2026.
