Janet (Jan) Louise Dorland-Erickson, 80, born 10-19-1938, passed away in her home on 06-11-2019, age related causes. She was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. Graduating from Centennial High School in 1956. She worked for Loaf & Jug, and American Airlines. She loved her gardening and her dog (Lady Bird). She loved to be in the outdoors, raising her children in Beulah, involved in all their childhood activities. Jan was wonderful about remembering any and all dates, ie...birthdates, anniversaries, exc. Jan's love for the Domino's game was extraordinary, She was somewhat known as a (Jill) of all trades. Nothing she wouldn't try or do herself and get it done. Jan would care for the sick, comfort the dying , split the wood , build the wall , hold the snake , fire the gun , hike the trail, calm the heart , handle the project no one else wanted, She love with all her heart , shared a scripture and be herself in the face of anything. She was survived by her loving husband, Gerald Paul (Gerry) Erickson Sr. Her sons, Jeff (Clare) Donahue, Bill (Sheila Joe) Donahue, and her Granddaughter, Chelsea (David) Operchal. She was survived by many Step children, step Grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Loved by man y friends and extended family. Predeceased by Her daughter, Christy Lynn Donahue, father, Joseph Myrle Dorland, mother, Jessie Viola Campbell, brother, John C. Dorland, sister, Janie M. Dorland. Services will be held at Heritage Baptist Church, 2122 Overton Rd. Pueblo Co. 81008, on June 21, 2019 at 12pm followed by burial service at Imperial Funeral Home & Cemetery.
