Janet Marie Rodacy

Janet Marie Rodacy, 72, passed away May 11, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She is now in the arms of our Lord. She was born in Pesotum, Illinois on May 23, 1938 and moved to Colorado at a young age. Janet is preceded in death by her parents; William and Margaret Schum and sisters; Edna Wade and Patricia Ward. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James Anthony Rodacy; children, Cynthia (Paul) Hanley, Diane (David) Alfonso, Christopher (Mary) Rodacy, Carolyn (Brent) Childress, Andrew Rodacy, Teresa (Kurt) Grinstead, James (Charlotte Ruiz) Rodacy; grandchildren, Mark, Vince, Devin, Jessica, Arthur, Rachael, Anna, Mariah, Zebulon, Brigita, Christopher Jr., Matthew, Gabriel, Rebecca, Tiffany, Gennavieve, Kimberly, Kevin; brothers and sisters, Luella Shanahan, Fred Schum, William Schum, Eleanor Begley, Sister Agnes Ann Schum SL. Janet was a very religious person inspiring others with her faith and love of God. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy. She enjoyed warm days on her porch, loved spring time and flowers. Viewing, 2 – 5 pm, Sunday, May 15, 2011 George McCarthy Funeral Home.
