Janet Kay McDonald passed away Nov. 13, 2025. Survived by her husband Douglas McDonald of 61 years, her sons, Douglas (Kim) McDonald, John (Jennifer) McDonald. Grandmother to Kayla (Nick) Picco, LeAnne (Ryan) Picco, Bryan (Alex) McDonald, Elijah (Morgan) McDonald, and Emma McDonald. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren Elias, Everett, Skyla, Jayce, Kenna, Dresden,
and Declan. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Melba McClure. She was a loving and charismatic wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked alongside Colorado Senator Hank Brown before becoming a computer instructor at Pueblo Community College. She was light-hearted, intelligent, and exceptional at DIY projects. Her passion for photography and videography of her family reflects her unwavering love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Dec. 22nd. Family will be receiving guests at 10:30am with the service starting at 11am; 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, CO. Graveside committal to immediately follow at 12pm
