

Born and raised in Pueblo, Jimmy was the son of Lawrence and Iona Williams. At just 17 years old, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, beginning a lifelong career as a helicopter mechanic. He proudly served for 20 years before continuing his work in aviation with Lockheed, L3 Harris, and Doss Aviation. He remained committed to his craft until he retired at the age of 73.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; sons Tony and Timothy; his mother, Iona Stanley; and his brother, Larry Williams (Gloria). He also leaves behind the Cook Family, Bridgette (James) Peterson, Lloyd (Charlene), and Linda.
Over the last 27 years, Jimmy’s heart and home grew to include many:
Jeremy S. Lee (Kristan), Nicole J. Wu (Bryant), and six grandsons (Daren A. Box, Tyler A. Box, Kyle A. Box, Marcus A. Wu, Stone Asher Lee, and Parker Julian Lee), Tiffany and Siloan Alberts (Miette, Aryeh), Brian and Gabrial Vigil, Shengzi and Yunhan Wu (Wayne William, and Miriam), Johanna and Edwin (Monserath, Arleth), aunt Maggie Curtis (Cindy (Guy), John Curtis (Carol)), Jeannie and Ken Hill; his brothers-in-law, Rev. John D. Adams (Marsha) and Joel D. Adams (Mark).
The family would like to extend special thanks to Sangre de Cristo Hospice, the New Life Bible family, and their wonderful neighbors who provided love and support over the past twenty years.
Jimmy will be remembered for his dedication, quiet strength, and the deep love he shared with both family and friends. His legacy lives on in every life he touched.
Memorial service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 9, 2025, at New Life Bible Church. 2320 S. Prairie Ave. Pueblo, CO. 81005.
