

He is preceded in death by his son John Medrano, grandsons James Medrano, Miguel Gonzales. Brothers, Frank and David Medrano, Sisters Dolores Mijares, and Francis Molina. He is survived by wife Lois V. and children, Joseph M., John Anthony, Janie, Bernadette, Debbie, Jacob, 4 step children, Sisters Sally Medrano & Mary Almanza, along with18 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at St. Leander’s Church, Thursday, Nov 2nd Rosary at 12pm, Mass 12:30pm, with a fellowship to follow, at Knights of Columbus 1200 Acero St. Pueblo, CO. He will be laid to rest at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
He graduated from Rotan High School, Rotan TX, attended Colorado College for accounting, Univ of NM, accounting & business, Delta College for investments. He served in the US Army 1952-1954.
Joe worked for Ponca Wholes. in Pueblo Co. for 27 years and was Assistant Zone Manager for Colorado & NM. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Colorado State, Candy & Tobacco Association for four years.
He married Loyola E. Lopez in 1954 and they later divorced. This marriage was blessed with seven children.
In 1984 Joe moved to California and married Lois V. Koenig in 1988.
Joe was very active with Holy Family Parish in Pueblo, Co and Presentation Church in Stockton, CA. He loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed watching sports with all his sons, and grandsons.
