John B. “Cid” Secora, born December 18, 1933, to Paul and Elenora Secora, went to be with our Lord April 5, 2023. He is survived by his children Cathy (Gary Kuhrt), Pam (Bob Bensko), John B “Tut” (Tonya) Secora, Barby (Dalton Frederiksen); Brother Alvin Secora; grandchildren Chris (Linda), Casey (Alexis), Carrie Anne Kuhrt; Krystal (Rob) Hupp. Zach (Brit), Mitch (Bre), Zarin Secora, Brenden Garcia. Josh, Scott Secora and Tyler Masterson; great-grandchildren Evelyn, Haley, Greyson, Mariah, Jayda, Aaron, Spencer Secora, Aubrey and Payton; another daughter-in-law Cynda Secora as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family, far too many to list, you know who you are. All the friends from the Great Valley and the extended family at Presbyterian Towers.
He was preceded in death by his wife Karen Secora and son Andrew “Andy” Secora, Grandson Matthew Secora, brothers Paul, Robert “Bob” Secora and sister Dorothy Warmack.
Cid was a Proud American Army Veteran, retiree of CF & I and Proud volunteer for the US Forest Service for over 30 years. Cid loved hunting, fishing, trapshooting, cooking, and gambling. He attended St. Mary’s Church in Pueblo, Colorado. He was a member of Nocturnal Adoration Society, National Nomad Society, and The Big Elk Camp. He will be greatly missed by all.

A visitation will held from 3pm-6pm Tuesday, April 18, 2023 followed by a Rosary at 6pm at TG McCarthy Funeral Home Chapel; Funeral Mass will be 10:00am Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at St Mary’s Church, with internment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
