He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara Summers. He is survived by his children, Denise (Chuck) Ellis, Mark (Tara) Summers, and Shelley (Craig) Dotson.
He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy.
John had a deep love for golf and enjoyed playing as often as he could until he was no longer able.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, generosity, and the love he shared with his family and many friends.
