Joyce Pauline Goodloe

Joyce P. Goodloe, 79, was born on March 31, 1934; and passed away August 31, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Goodloe; daughter, Pamela J. Horan; brothers, Donnie, Rudy and Frank Strong. Joyce is survived by her children, David R. Goodloe, Cynthia L. Navarrete, Gina D. Gibbons, Kristina L. Goodloe, Raymond D. Goodloe; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; her sisters, Laura Karr, Sally Browning; her sisters-in-law, Betty Strong; Cheryl Thompson and DeeDee Strong; and numerous other relatives and dear friends. Joyce worked at the Gates Rubber Company in Denver for many years. She loved having a house full of kids, no matter who they belonged to. She loved her crafts, crocheting and especially the great outdoors. She had a phenomenal green thumb in which she used to create many beautiful landscapes in her works of art, as well as the many, many plants she revived that went on to grow and grow and grow! She loved long drives in the mountains, traveling of most kind, and watching the awesome sunrises and sunsets that God creates each day. She always loved everyone, and anyone could talk to her about anything at any time. She left a lasting impression on all the lives that she touched. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., August 17, 2013, at the Baltimore Apts., 2036 Kachina Dr., Apt. #9, in Pueblo, Colorado. For more information, please contact Gina @719/778-8874.
