Juanita "Jennie" Torres, 68, entered eternal life January 17, 2018. Born June 24, 1949, to Rosie and Narciso Quintana, who preceded her in death. Jennie is also preceded in death by husband Pablo Torres; children Juan Pablo and Cecilia Rose; sisters Pinky and Lucy; brothers Gilbert and Dickie. Survived by brothers Billy and Larry (Irene) Quintana; sister-in-law Betty; children Mona (Daniel) Bitz, Pat (Tina) Torres, and Paula (Mike) Maes. She is also survived by grandchildren Michael, Sonya, Shelby, BJ, Joshua, Ashley, Jenna, Shianne, and Jacob; great-grandchildren Nevin, Lowla, Connor, and Lilah; godchildren Ricky, Billy, Lisa, Theresa, JR, and Kionna; as well as nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jennie enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and family game nights (no one played Monopoly like she did). Thank you to the Parkview Medical Center Staff on 2 South and 2 East. A special thank you to the Villa Pueblo staff for caring for Jennie and her family during Jennie's last moments. Per her wishes, cremation is to take place. A celebration of life for Jennie will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel.
