Kay Jean Heath

Kay Jean Heath, born August 16, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away August 2, 2014, in Pueblo, Colorado, at the age of 72. Proceeded in death by her parents, Ramsey and Sophia Strother; and her sister, Patricia Marshall. Survived by stepmom, Louise Strother; brother, Ramsey Strother; sons, Lindsey Heath, Brad (Amy) Heath, Greg (Melissa) Heath, and Jimmy Heath; grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Taylor, Tatum and Devon. Kay was a long time employee at Campbells Flowers, member of the Red Hat Society and longtime parishioner at St Pius X. Kay enjoyed spending time with her boys and special love bugs; and of course watching her favorite baseball team the Chicago Cubbies. Kay loved spending time in her garden tending and enjoying her flowers, until her health would not allow her. Thank you to Dr. Keefe and staff, Dr. Shapiro and staff, the nurses and staff on the 4th floor at Parkview and the staff at Sangre De Cristo Hospice. In lieu of food or flowers please feel free to make donations in Kay’s name to Sangre De Cristo Hospice. Cremation has taken place, at her request. Rosary service will be held at 1:30 P.M. at Adrian Comer Funeral Home on August 8, 2014, memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 P.M.
